A custom SEO platform, built end to end.

I built a full custom platform to run client work because off-the-shelf tools could not do what I needed accurately or fast enough. It handles real client work every day: rank tracking that reads live search data, automated audits, client reporting, and an AI assistant that drafts tasks and replies for review. SEO reports that used to take hours now assemble in minutes, the rank data is more accurate than the third-party tools it replaced, and I built a recording feature that walks each client through their report and the numbers. Most SEO consultants recommend tools. I build them.

I have project-managed large, complex software projects top to bottom, not just advised on the SEO. Two stand out.

National bearing distributor

Magento to Laravel, without losing the rankings.

A national distributor moved off Magento onto a custom Laravel platform. I ran the project end to end over two years: the migration plan, the redirect strategy, courier integration with DHL and DPD, accounting integration with Sage, and a team of two developers, a frontend developer and two SEO managers. Rankings and traffic held through the change, and the new site outperformed the old one.

Specialist insurance platform

A stalled build, taken through to delivery.

A specialist insurance broker in the shooting and country-sports sector was left stranded when their previous developer went AWOL, mid-build, on a custom platform. I took it on and saw it through: a multi-year engagement to complete the full backend functionality, working closely with the client through round after round of the features their business actually ran on. It was managed properly and delivered, and the team worked hard to get it there.

Google Ads managed for return.

I currently manage around 12 Google Ads accounts, focused on return rather than clicks. That means conversion tracking and attribution done properly, Performance Max and search campaigns, continuous testing of ad copy against audiences, and tight negative-keyword control that saves clients somewhere between 10 and 15 percent of their monthly spend. A custom automation layer pulls the data through and checks performance every week, so campaigns stay sharp, with a human checking every change before it goes live.
